North Korea’s Kim Yeo-jeong “Security Council, double standards … very strong reaction to the end”

Kim Yo-jong, vice minister of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, criticized the UN Security Council’s discussion on the issue of North Korea’s intercontinental ballistic missile launch as “double standards”.

Vice Minister Kim argued in a statement by the Korean Central News Agency today (22nd) that “it is a clear double standard that the Security Council ignores the excessive military build-up of the US and South Korea and talks about our inviolable right to self-defense .”

“We strongly condemn the serious political provocations resulting from the violation of sovereignty,” he said, “we will never tolerate anyone and we will respond with extreme harshness until the end.”
