A Melbourne court has ruled that Djokovic’s visa to attend the Australian Open was initially revoked without Kovid being vaccinated. Djokovic was denied a visa for not receiving the Kovid vaccine and was detained for four days at an immigration detention center. Joko then won a legal battle on the court to claim the title to retain the title at the Australian Open. However, the Australian government has repeatedly stated that it will not compromise on visas.
Djokovic had started training at the Australian Open court following an earlier court ruling. Djokovic was announced as the top seed in the tournament.
