Sydney: Serbia’s world number one Novak Djokovic has been ruled out of the Australian Open. An Australian court has rejected an appeal challenging the player’s visa revocation. The player has been asked to leave Australia soon. The court also did not question the Australian government’s decision to ban entry for three years.

A Melbourne court has overturned Djokovic’s visa for the Australian Open without taking the Kovid vaccine. Djokovic was denied a visa on the grounds that Kovid had not been vaccinated and had spent four days in an immigration detention center.

Joko then won a legal battle on the court to claim the title to retain the title at the Australian Open. But the Australian government has not compromised. Djokovic began training at the Australian Open after an earlier court ruling. Djokovic was named the top seed in the tournament.

The Australian Open starts on Monday. Defending champion Djokovic is aiming for his 10th Australian Open and 21st Grand Slam title.

Spain’s Rafael Nadal has reacted sharply to Djokovic’s actions. Nadal responded that the Australian Open was more important than the individual.
