NVIDIA GeForce Now update brings native support for Apple M1 chips

NVIDIA today announced that the latest update to its cloud gaming service, GeForce Now macOS, will offer native support for the Apple M1 chip.

Native support for the Apple M1 architecture will require downloading and installing version 2.0.40 of GeForce Now, which should be available soon. This update delivers lower power consumption, faster application launch times and an overall improved GeForce NOW experience on M1-based MacBooks, iMacs, and Mac Minis.This update also improves the Streaming Statistics Overlay, which can now be used to view server-side rendering frame rates, using hotkeys Ctrl+N Quick cut mode.

In addition, GeForce Now has also announced new games for the week, one of which is Amazon’s popular free-to-play RPG Lost Ark. Lost Ark, and the rest include Dune: Spice Wars, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt, SOL CRESTA, etc.
