The CEO and key executives of Hyundai Heavy Industries Group visited the Doosan Infracore production site as the first schedule after the acquisition of Doosan Infracore.

On the morning of August 20, Hyundai Heavy Industries Holdings Chairman Kwon Oh-gap visited the Incheon plant, the headquarters of Doosan Infracore, along with Hyundai Genuine President Cho Young-cheol and Hyundai Heavy Industries Holdings Vice President Jeong Ki-sun.

Chairman Kwon and his party toured major production facilities such as the integrated R&D center, small engine plant, and excavator assembly plant under the guidance of Doosan Infracore President Son Dong-yeon, and encouraged employees who are starting out as a family of Hyundai Heavy Industries.

In particular, Chairman Kwon showed great interest in the technological prowess of Doosan Infracore by visiting the integrated R&D center first after arriving at the Incheon plant, looking around the design room, and examining the future concept excavator.

In addition, Chairman Kwon delivered a frame with the Hyundai Spirit ‘Creative Wisdom, Active Will, Strong Driving Force’, which contains the management philosophy of founder Chung Ju-young, and the motto of Hyundai Heavy Industries, ‘Diligence, frugality, and love’ to President Son on the same day. said welcome to the Hyundai Heavy Industries Group family.

Chairman Kwon looked around the production site in work clothes and said, “We will spare no effort in supporting Doosan Infracore to grow one step further into a global top-tier company beyond the domestic market.”

Next, Chairman Kwon and President Cho visited the parts center and education center located in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, and checked the automatic warehouse system and educational facilities with their own eyes.

A Hyundai Heavy Industries Group official said, “The fact that Chairman Kwon and key group executives immediately visited the production site as soon as they completed the acquisition of Doosan Infracore means that the expectations for Doosan Infracore are high. It shows the will to do it.”

Meanwhile, Hyundai Heavy Industries Group paid all the money for the takeover of Doosan Infracore on August 19, and completed the eight-month takeover battle since it was selected as the preferred bidder in December of last year.
