Odisha train accident; A compensation of Rs 10 lakh has been announced for the families of the deceased

Bhubaneswar: Central Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has announced compensation to the families of Odisha train accident victims. He announced that a compensation of Rs 10 lakh each will be given to the families of the deceased and Rs 2 lakh to those seriously injured. He also announced on Twitter that Rs 50,000 compensation will be given to passengers who sustained minor injuries.

The information at the moment is that the Union Railway Minister has gone to the site of the accident. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also condoled the accident. The Prime Minister added that he had spoken to the Minister of Railways and was providing all possible assistance to the people affected.
