[OSEN=우충원 기자] Oh Chang-rok (28, Yeongam-gun Folk Ssireum Team) rose to the top of the Halla class (under 105 kg) at the ‘Withers Pharmaceutical 2021 Chuseok Jangsa Ssireum Competition’, solidifying his position as the strongest this year.
Oh Chang-rok defeated rookie Gook-hee Lee (24, Jeungpyeong-gun Office) 3-1 in the Halla long-scheduled match (3 wins out of 5) held at the Taean Indoor Gymnasium in Taean-gun, Chungnam on the 20th.
Oh Chang-rok, who debuted on the business stage in 2017, won the first business title at the Chuseok competition, and went on to win three crowns this season (New Year’s Day sales, Haenam sales, and Chuseok sales) and the ninth Halla business in his personal career.
In the round of 16 and quarter-finals, they defeated Lee Kwang-jae (Gumi City Hall) and Park Jeong-jin (Gwangju City Hall) 2-0, respectively, and defeated Nam Won-taek (Yeongwol-gun Office) 2-1 in the finals to advance to the finals.
In the final meeting with Lee Guk-hee, Oh Chang-rok took the lead with his first special skill, a field badge keeper.
