Oil prices fall… 15 won for gasoline and 16 won for diesel will be cut this week

    Selling prices of gasoline and diesel at domestic gas stations continued to fall this week.

    The average selling price of gasoline at gas stations nationwide during the first week of December (4th to 8th) was 1611.1 won, down 15.1 won from the previous week.

    The average price of gasoline this week in Seoul, the most expensive region in Korea, was 1699.6 won, down 2.5 won, and in Daegu, the lowest price region, was 1544.8 won, down 19.9 won.

    The selling price of diesel this week was 1845.7 won, down 16.2 won from the previous week.

    As international oil prices fell, the selling prices of gasoline and diesel also fell.

    Domestic petroleum product prices are expected to continue their decline next week.

    International oil prices showed a downward trend this week due to the increase in US petroleum product inventories, declining Chinese export indicators and fears of a global recession.

    The average price of Dubai oil this week, the standard for imported crude oil, recorded $76.7 a barrel, down $3.4 from the previous week.

    The international average gasoline price fell 3.5 dollars to 83.4 dollars per barrel, and the international automobile diesel price fell 7.1 dollars to 109.5 dollars per barrel.
