2023 Okinawa Camp Day 13[Dydd Llun, Ionawr 30]

Okinawa camp is finally here, 3 days left. The players were revived after being off yesterday afternoon, but they will resume their intensive training from today.

On the third day of the camp, two surgeries were held in the morning and afternoon. In the morning practice, we started with strength training, followed by bus and control, 1-on-1 approach, 5-on-5 challenge and cover, and cross-attack training starting from the sides. Training yesterday focused on recovery, so the practice was lively and the players were smiling from start to finish.

After the morning workout, I returned to the hotel, had lunch, and went back to the floor. In the afternoon practice, after warming up, set piece training took place. We were divided into the offensive side led by head coach Masato Harasaki and the defensive side led by GK coach Noriyuki Yamagishi.

A meeting will be held after lunch. Looking back at the video from the practice game the other day, we shared how to fight as a team.

We have changed our plans for tomorrow and we will only practice in the morning. We will prepare well for the final training in Okinawa and prepare for the closed practice match on the last day.

The first half of the camp was physically demanding, and there were times when it was difficult, but we managed to overcome them by uniting as a team. After that, it became more tactical as the game came on. My body has become more active, and we are united in terms of tactics, so I think we are doing well so far.

I joined the team halfway through last season and was able to play consistently, but I think that’s the bare minimum for me. I’m a defender, but I conceded a lot of goals and didn’t have much help, so I want to be concerned about the results. I would like to be able to make it a feature not only for myself but also as a team.

When I played for FC Tokyo, I played on the left side, so I don’t want to forget that feeling. Even if we play on the left side, we have to do the one thing still, and I think the most important thing for the current team is to run and fight to win.

Information about the camp is also posted on the club’s official SNS. Please take a look.
