Oman allows employers to renew expired resident cards

Muscat: Oman allows employers to renew expired resident cards The Supreme Committee of Oman has also decided to waive the penalties for renewal of resident cards for the period June 1, 2020 to December 30, 2021.

Penalties for non-renewal of commercial registers and licenses of establishments and companies are waived. Licenses can be renewed from June 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021 without penalty. Those who renew this year will get the benefits.

For those in Oman, the penalty reduction will be applicable for renewal of expired Resident Card and for the period from 1st June 2020 to 30th December 2021. This exemption is also available for returnees from Oman.
