One and a half lakh for a child, two lakh for a kidney: The Afghan people sell everything they have to starve

Kabul: Following the Taliban government’s takeover, there have been reports of severe food shortages in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, there are reports of people selling organs to alleviate the famine.

People living in camps in Afghanistan’s Balkh province are selling their organs as well as selling babies for money to fight the famine. Tolo News reports that people are selling their kidneys in this way. At the same time, charitable committees are helping to dissuade people from selling children and organs.

Gender equality is unnatural and the plight of Western countries that have tried to implement it should be studied

According to the report, the price of a child ranges from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.5 lakh and the price of a kidney ranges from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2 lakh. The inability of the new Taliban government to raise funds for food security in the country is seen as a major problem. The United Nations has called on the world community to help Afghanistan, which is facing food shortages and other humanitarian crises under Taliban rule.
