One person was killed in early Sunday in a three-car accident on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, the police said.
According to Maryland State Police, the victim was a passenger in Nissan Maxima in 2014 which was driven by Shaz-Dominique A. Holsey, Baltimore, 23 years of age.
The police said Holsey had been driving north on the parkway near the Western Nursery Road in Linthicum, just north of Baltimore-Washington International Airport at about 2:30 am, when his car ended with Honda CR-V.
Because of the force of influence, Honda SUV brought a collision with the vehicle in front of it, imposing that car over three traffic lanes, when it hit the median.
Police said the drivers of the Honda and the third car, a 32-year-old from Burtonsville and 22-year-old from Reisterstown, each of whom suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
The passenger was released in a Holsey car and died at the scene. The police did not recognize the victim.
The cause of the accident is under investigation and the police have not decided if any of the drivers involved are charged.
