On the 16th, Kim Jin-tae, chairman of the People’s Power ‘Lee Jae-myung National Verification Special Committee for Corruption’, criticized Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, for remarks that “I also went to the military” by referring to impersonation.

On the same day, Kim Jin-tae, chairman of the special committee, posted a video capture of Lee Jae-myung’s ‘Matta Bus’ (a weekly public bus) written on his Facebook page that said ‘my military life’ and said, “If you look at this, you’ll think you’ve been to the military. ?” he criticized.

He also pointed out the remarks of candidate Lee Jae-myung at the talk concert ‘mindfulness’ the day before, saying, “I said that I went to the military after training for a week in front.”

‘Mifil’ Lee Jae-myung “Humans who haven’t been in the military are talking about a preemptive attack”

Earlier, at a talk concert held at a cafe in Inje-gun, Gangwon-do, Candidate Jae-myung Lee said on the 15th at a talk concert, “Aren’t people who didn’t originally going to the military insist on annihilation and unification of the North?”

This seems to be about the fact that People’s Strength candidate Yoon Seok-yeol, who is unwritten in the military, recently bought anchovies and beans at E-Mart and defended the ‘destruction’ remarks of Shinsegae Group Vice Chairman Jeong Yong-jin, followed by ‘first strike theory’ in the recent North Korean missile provocation. .

However, Candidate Jae-myung Lee added, “I feel like that a bit,” as if conscious that he was also not a member of the military. Candidate Jae-myung Lee was exempted from military service after being diagnosed with a grade 6 disability in an accident while working as a boy.

However, when the participants in the reservists talked about their hardships during military service, he said, “Actually, I’ve been in the military,” he said. “People know it funny, but when I was in my sophomore year (university), I went to Yanggu to train for forward entry for a week. I am also a person who has served in the military. But I went there on purpose,” he introduced.

This seems to mean the ‘forward admission training’, in which college students in the 1980s, during the military regime, were given a week of military training in the front-line units.

Lee Jae-myung, with a criminal record of impersonating public officials in the past

The reason that Kim Jin-tae, chairman of the special committee, mentioned ‘impersonation’ in such remarks is because of candidate Lee Jae-myung’s past history. Candidate Jae-myung Lee has four criminal convictions: △ Impersonating a public official, △ Drunk driving, △ Obstructing the execution of special official duties, and △ Violating the Public Official Election Act. It is pointed out that it is not correct for Candidate Jae-myung Lee to criticize non-commissioned officers by expressing himself as a person who had served in the military for a week during his college days.

Heo Jeong-hwan, a full-time spokesperson for the People’s Power Election Response Headquarters, also commented on the 16th, saying, “This is an episode that overflows with the frivolity of Lee Jae-myung’s view of security and the vulgarity of his personality. It is a remark that ignores many unwritten military personnel who say that they should not do it.”

He continued, “It’s just like Lee Jae-myung, who has not been in the military and has been excluded from his body. It’s just a thing,” he said.
