In a poll about the first year in office of President Joe Biden, half of the respondents said that they were “frustrated,” a poll result came out on the 16th (local time).

As a result of a CBS broadcasting survey of 2,094 American adults from the 12th to the 14th of the last month, 50% of the respondents said they felt ‘frustrated’ after Biden took office.

President Biden’s approval rating stood at 44 percent, the lowest since the trough in November of the same year, starting with the decision to withdraw troops from Afghanistan last summer.

This is the lowest approval rating of any US president since Ronald Reagan in his first year in office, with the exception of former President Donald Trump (37%).

Most of the respondents, in particular, were found to be dissatisfied with the Biden administration’s economic policies and inflation.

His approval rating for President Biden’s economic policies was only 38%, below his average. On the price issue, only 30% of respondents supported him.

In addition, 58% of respondents said the Bidens administration was not focusing enough on economic issues, and 65% said it lacked a response to inflation.

Regarding the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), which has become an emergency due to the record-breaking spread of the Omicron mutation, only 36% of the respondents said that the government is responding well.

On the other hand, 64% said they did not respond properly.

President Biden’s approval rating for the COVID-19 response also fell to 49%.

As a reason for dissatisfaction with President Biden’s response to COVID-19, 69% said that the related information was confusing, and 61% said that they are pushing for mandatory vaccines. 47% also pointed out that the US was not prepared for Omicron.
