Ong Seong-wu enlists on active duty on April 17th… Private entry ceremony, no separate event

Actor Ong Seong-wu will leave the public for a while with his military enlistment in April.

On the 16th, Fantagio announced through its official channel that Ong Seongwu would be enlisting as an active duty soldier on April 17th.

Ong Seong-wu debuted in 2017 as a member of Mnet’s ‘Produce 101’ season 2 group Wanna One, and after working as a team, he is an artist who has been working as a solo singer and actor.

Until recently, starting with JTBC’s ‘Eighteen Moments’ (2019), ‘The many cases where friends become lovers’, Kakao TV’s program ‘Shall we have a cup of coffee?’ In addition to last year’s Netflix original films, ‘Seoul Grand Operation’ and ‘Life is Beautiful’, he has performed a variety of actors on screen.

Ong Seong-wu plans to join the army on his enlistment day through a private recruitment ceremony without any special event after spending a month quickly wrapping up the current filming schedules as JTBC’s ‘Strong Woman Gangnam-soon’.

Fantagio said, “We ask for warm support and love for Ong Seong-wu, who will faithfully fulfill his protection duties and return in good health.”
