All seats for all matches before the 2021 professional baseball postseason, which will start on November 1, will be operated as areas for vaccination against the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

Accordingly, fans who have completed the vaccination and enter the outdoor baseball field can watch baseball while enjoying chicken and beer (chimaek) from their seats.

However, you cannot eat or drink in the audience at Gocheok Sky Dome, an indoor baseball field. In consideration of the cold, the KBO Secretariat will hold all Korean Series matches at Gocheok Dome.

The KBO Secretariat announced on the 29th that in accordance with the announcement of the detailed implementation plan for the phase 1 recovery (with Corona) by the quarantine authorities, 100% of the seats for all baseball games this fall will be operated as a vaccination zone.

Those who completed the vaccination two weeks after the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, those who tested negative for PCR testing within 48 hours, and fans under the age of 18 can ‘intuit’ (watch directly) the postseason.

Fans who have not been vaccinated due to unavoidable reasons can enter the baseball field with a doctor’s note.

Spectators must present a certificate of completion of vaccination (mobile phone application) or a printout of a PCR voice confirmation issued within 48 hours (voice confirmation via text message or social networking service is not allowed) at the entrance to the ballpark.

The government will start the With Corona quarantine system, which has been reorganized for the first four weeks from November.

In the case of professional baseball, 50% of the fans of the stadium are allowed to enter regardless of whether or not they are vaccinated.

The KBO Secretariat has designated all seats as 100% vaccinated areas for safe play.
