Orix announces new corona positives for Shota Abe and Tatsuya Yamaashi Both are asymptomatic and isolated | Full-Count

Abe is a good relief to close the bases loaded without death in the game on the 27th

Orix announced on the 28th through its official website that Shota Abe, Tatsuya Yamaashi, infielder, and one team staff have been positive for the new coronavirus. It was found by a screening PCR test conducted on the 27th.

All three are currently asymptomatic and are being isolated from the team. Abe also pitched at the Nippon-Ham Fighter held at Tokyo Dome on the 27th. He went up to the mound with a bases loaded with no death in the 7th inning, and showed a good throw to hold down with no runs.
