Abu Dhabi: Royal Challengers Bangalore pacer Harshal Patel has been in fine form for the 14th season of the IPL (IPL 2021). Herschel also excelled in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. With three wickets in hand, Herschel made it to the Elite list in IPL history. It remains to be seen whether the player will surpass the all-time great wicket-taking achievement in this IPL.

RCB can easily break Sunrisers; Lara with prophecy

With today’s three-wicket haul, Herschel’s tally in the IPL this season is 29 wickets. This is the third best wicket-taking in a season in IPL history. There are no Indian players in front of Hershal. Dwayne Bravo, who took 32 wickets in 2013, and Kagiso Rabada, who took 30 wickets in 2020, are in the top two. Harshal, who took 28 wickets in 2011, overtook Lasith Malinga for the fourth wicket.

As the RCB has already secured the play-offs this season, everyone is looking forward to seeing if Bravo’s record will be surpassed by Hershal Patel. It will not be easy for Herschel to take three more wickets in his current form.

Relief for Kolkata; The superstars may return in the decisive match

RCB beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 141 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. The Sunrisers’ top scorer was Jason Roy with 44 runs. Captain Kane Williamson scored 31 runs. Herschelle took three for 33 in four overs, while Dan Christian took two, George Gorton and Yusvendra Chahal one each. Herschel dismissed Williamson, Saha and Holder.
