‘Pappan’ is Joshi’s 252nd film in his career after the hit film Porinchu Mariam Jose. After a gap of 22 years with Suresh Gopi as the solo hero, Pappan has also claimed the distinction of being Joshi’s next film. Suresh Gopi will play the role of Mathews Pappan IPS in the film.

‘Vazhunnor’ is Joshi’s previous film in which Suresh Gopi acted as a solo hero.

Gokul Suresh, Neeta Pillai, Nyla Usha, Asha Sarath, Kaniha, Chandunath, Vijayaraghavan, Tini Tom and Shammi Thilakan are in the cast. This is the first time that Suresh Gopi and Gokul have teamed up in a movie.

Joshi and Suresh Gopi started their relationship in 1986 with the film ‘Sayam Sandhya’. Suresh Gopi played the role of Ravi in ​​the movie starring Mammootty.
