Bangladesh, who scored 330 in the first innings, reduced Pakistan to 286 in the first innings to take a 44 – run lead. Lytton Das scored for Bangladesh and Abid Ali for Pakistan.
Bangladesh started the second innings with a 44-run lead but could not find the target. The team was all out for just 157 runs. This time too, Litton Das shone with 59 runs.

Abid Ali shone in the second innings for Pakistan, who set a target of 202 for victory. Abid (91) and Abdullah Shafiq (73) put Pakistan ahead.
The second Test of the series starts on December 4.
