The construction of a defense centre’s ‘K-Weapon’ reliability test service is also promoted
H-City (CEO Bong-jae Heo), a company specializing in testing and certifying industrial equipment that provides F-35 flight maintenance support service, announced on the 21st that it is participating in the 5th Exhibition Korea Defense Industry 2022 (DX KOREA 2022) held at KINTEX, Ilsan, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.
H-City, an independent testing and calibration certification company that was converted from the Hyundai Electronics Industry Quality Assurance Office in 2000, has the nation’s best technology in 5G communication, electromagnetic compatibility and safety testing.
In particular, from 2019, it expands its business area to the defense industry by providing flight maintenance support services for F-35 fighters in collaboration with Lockheed Martin, the world’s largest defense company.
As an organization implementing the foreign certification procurement voucher project for the defense industry, opened by the Defense Technology Promotion Research Institute, it supports the expansion of domestic defense companies abroad.
The company is also considering building a large-scale defense center to match the growth of ‘K-Defense’.
