A New York man who fatally attacked a 67-year-old Asian woman with 125 gang bangs was sentenced Tuesday to 17 and a half years in prison for hate crimes.

Esco Tammel Westchester County Court sentenced the 42-year-old to 17 and a half years in prison for assaulting him in March.
