Islamabad: Imran Khan accused former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari of paying terrorists to kill him. Imran Khan made the serious allegations in a virtual press conference held at his residence in Zaman Park in Lahore.
“Zardari is using a lot of money for terrorist activities. It also pays the government to remove it. Also, there is a plan to put the Sindh government first and win the next election through corrupt money” – Imran said in the press conference.
Earlier some people tried to kill him in a public meeting. But Imran told the media that he told the security officials about this and they backed off that day.
Imran’s press conference again asked for security. The claim came after the Pakistani government withdrew the extra security at the residence in Lahore. Earlier, 275 policemen were deployed at Imran’s residence.
Some tried to assassinate Imran Khan last November. Cal was shot in the leg that day. The firing took place during the long procession from Gujrang Valley to the national capital. The attack took place when the rally reached Zafar Ali Khan Chowk in Wazirabad.
