The task force of the task force to investigate the attack on a public official of the Ministry of People’s Power said, “At the time of the incident, the word ‘North Korea’ appeared once in military intelligence, and there was no content related to North Korea in the communications before and after that.”

Rep. Ha Tae-kyung, who served as the head of the task force, held a press conference to announce the results of the visit to the Ministry of National Defense this morning and disclosed these details.

Rep. Ha said, “The time when the word ‘North Korea’ appeared was not immediately after it was discovered by the North Korean military, but two hours after it had passed. “He pointed out.

“After reading the documents reported to the Blue House by the Ministry of National Defense, I found that there was an expression that said, ‘I was exhausted because it had been 40 hours since I got it,’” he said. It is an important ground for doubting the trustworthiness of the company.”

Rep. Shin Won-sik explained, “When a senior unit asked ‘Have you defected to North Korea?’, a North Korean soldier at the scene answered, ‘You say you have defected to North Korea.'”

He continued, “I think ‘I said that I defected to North Korea’ was said by Lee Dae-Jun himself, or when a North Korean guard asked ‘Isn’t he defected’, he answered ‘yes’, but I think it’s the latter.” It is highly likely that he was not in a state of understanding.”

Assemblyman Ha also said, “In the first report that the Joint Chiefs of Staff reported to the Blue House Crisis Management Center on September 22, 2020, it was stated that the possibility of Mr. Lee’s defection to North Korea was low. It has changed to a position where this is judged,” he pointed out.

When asked whether the Blue House meeting had a decisive role in the change in the defense ministry’s position, Assemblyman Ha said, “I think there was something at the meeting. If it is a designated document or not, it will be possible to read it if it is not a document.”

Earlier, the People’s Power Task Force visited the Ministry of National Defense yesterday and asked questions to officials for about five hours and read related materials excluding special information (SI).
