important, raise awareness of equality, acceptance of diversity, and love for all people
the planet as well as animals. In the play there is a lot of music from faraway parts of the world, and

The performance “What remains after the rapture?” (Text and direction: Isidora Bjelica) is scheduled from 8:00 p.m.

In the play, actress Jelica plays the character of Queen Natalija Obrenović. What remains after the rapture is
a historical story about the most guarded secrets of our history, but the actress proves with her masterful acting that this is actually a story about every woman who has experienced fraud, betrayal, disappointment, struggle for a child…

According to Isidore Bjelica, Queen Natalija Obrenović is actually a paradigm of femininity and romanticism as well as motherhood and strength, but also the fight against taboos.

“There is no woman who, through Natalija’s ecstasies, her shattered illusions, betrayals, laughter and tears, cannot recognize herself and her life’s delusions and fractures,” said Isidora.

With modern direction and dramaturgy, Isidora brings the play closer to the present moment, so that this is not only a historical truth about one woman, but also learning how to endure the unbearable, and how to become stronger after the most difficult moments. One of the most exciting stories of European history will be told by Jelica Brestovac in a subtle antinomy of sadness and laughter, where tears and laughter alternate.

The performances will be organized by the Cultural and Sports Center of Pale and the Association of Art Lovers of Pale ULjUP.
