Kochi: Criticism that the action taken by the party against the CPM leaders responsible for the defeat of the LDF in the Ernakulam district in the assembly elections has decreased. Babu Joseph, a Kerala Congress M high-powered committee member and LDF candidate, blamed the CPM local leaders in Perumbavoor for his defeat. He was dissatisfied with the fact that the action against NC Mohanan, a CPM district secretary who was in charge of elections, was confined to party discipline.

Dissatisfaction in Perumbavoor started when the Kerala Congress MLA was given a seat at the last minute of the nomination process. Despite all the money and facilities needed for the campaign, Calvary. Posters and pamphlets were piled up in party offices. Babu Joseph said that the public discipline given to those responsible for the defeat was accepted by the CPM as the greatest of the disciplinary measures. District secretariat member NC Mohanan said he was not responding to the allegations. However, the Kerala Congress M state leadership said that Babu Joseph’s stand was an isolated incident and that he had expressed personal distress.
