According to the Cheong Wa Dae public petition bulletin board on the 21st, the petition titled “I am accusing the Incheon Nonhyeon Police Station for the police response to the ‘Attempted Murder Case of Interfloor Noise’, posted on the 19th, has received the consent of 20,700 people as of 9 pm that day. . The Blue House response requirement is to get more than 200,000 signatures within 30 days.

The petitioner pointed out not only the poor response of the police when a knife riot occurred due to noise conflict between floors in a villa in Namdong-gu, Incheon on the 15th, but also the overall problems that appeared in the process of preventing crime and supporting victims before and after the incident.

Police Officer A and Inspector B, belonging to a certain division of the Incheon Nonhyeon Police Station, were dispatched to the scene before the knife riot, but when the incident occurred, they were criticized for causing damage by leaving the scene or failing to join in time.

The petitioner claims that on the day of the incident, the assailant, C (48), was harassed and the police were dispatched to the first report. He also pointed out that he did not stop even after seeing Mr. C approaching the victim after the second report.

According to the victim’s family, the victim, a woman in her 40s, D, was stabbed in the neck with a knife and was unable to regain consciousness. D’s husband and daughter in their 20s also received treatment for injuries to their hands and face.

On the other hand, Commissioner Kim Chang-ryong said through a notice to the reporters on the 21st that he had removed the chief from his post and launched an inspection and investigation into two police officers who were dispatched to the scene.
