New Delhi: Petrol Diesel Price Hike: As usual, fuel prices have gone up in the country today. Petrol price has been hiked by 87 paise per liter and diesel by 84 paise. With this, the price of diesel in the state has gone up to over Rs 100 again.
On October 11 last year, the diesel price in the state had crossed Rs 100. But when the excise duty was reduced in November, the price fell below Rs. In Thiruvananthapuram, the diesel price is Rs 100 for 14 paise. This is the ninth increase in petrol and diesel prices in the last ten days.

Thus, the daily surge in fuel prices may lead to an increase in the prices and prices of essential commodities and public transport in the country. Fuel prices, which started after a gap of 137 days, continue to rise.
Fuel prices have not risen for the past four months following elections in five states. A week after the results were announced, there were reports that fuel prices would rise sharply, but oil companies began raising prices a week later. It is reported that there will be further increase in fuel prices in the coming days.

The price of crude oil, which last fluctuated before the election, was around $ 82, and is now hovering around $ 120. Therefore, the price may go up further. Companies like Indian Oil Corporation, BPCL and HPCL lost $ 2.25 billion. That is 19000 crore Indian rupees.
In the national capital, petrol and diesel prices have been hiked by 80 paise each. With this, petrol is priced at Rs 101.81 and diesel at Rs 93.07. In Mumbai, India’s financial capital, petrol and diesel prices rose by 84 paise to Rs 116.72 and Rs 100.94 per liter, respectively.
