Doha: Pharmacare FC won the Speedline Sevens football tournament organized by the Youth Forum after defeating Orbit FC 2-1. In the tournament held at CNAC Qatar, 32 prominent teams from Qatar, including fan teams from different countries, competed. Anas from Pharmacare was awarded the best goalkeeper of the match. Kannan of Orbit FC is the top scorer of the tournament. Orbit FC’s Prince was awarded the best player award.
At the closing ceremony, former Qatar national team goalkeeper Ali Fuad, President of the Indian Sports Center Dr. Mohan Thomas, World Cup Indian Community Supporter Leader Safir Rahman, Bradma Group Manager Hamas Hashim, Healthcare Representative Naseem Imran and others were special guests. SS Youth Forum President Mustafa, Vice Presidents Aslam Eratupetta, Aslam Tawfeeq, Secretaries Habib Rahman, Suhail, Ahmad, Adil, Salman and others participated in the closing session. The tournament organizing committee members, Mufeed Hanifa, Mumin Farooq, Shafiq Ali, Shahnaz and others informed that various sports events will be organized in the coming weeks to welcome the World Cup starting in November.
