Pierre Guthrie said goodbye to the F1 Honda engine by running the Alpha Tauri Honda “AT01” that won the 2020 Italian GP F1.
Pierre Guthrie has been fighting with a Honda F1 engine since the full participation of Toro Rosso F1 in 2018, including 2017 when he participated in Super Formula, but in 2023 he left the Red Bull family and transferred to the competitive Alpine F1 team decided.
Pierre Gasly took part in the “Honda Racing THANKSGIVING DAY 2022” held at Mobility Resort Motegi on Sunday, November 27th.

Pierre Gasly said at the end of the run: “Being able to ride the AT01 2020 that I won in Monza last time with Honda, Honda and AlphaTauri trucks, and here in Motegi is the first race I’ve ever won in Super Formula. to be able to run with so many memories, and it was really great.”

“It’s a very memorable car and it was my first time driving at Motegi, so it was a lot of fun,” said Max Verstappen.
Verstappen, who won his second F1 world championship at Suzuka “I think it was a wonderful race, and I was very happy that I was able to win the championship in front of all the Japanese fans, and I will never forget it. Next Please support us,” he said.
Sergio Perez and Yuki Tsunoda took the lead in the Civic R Type before both began their full-scale run.
Sergio Pérez said, “I really appreciate everyone’s support. Suzuka was only possible because of everyone’s support, and finishing 1-2 was like a dream. It was a great race. I’m happy to be able to run in front of everyone. It was great to be able to run at the home of Honda.
Yuki Tsunoda said, “I think I’ve grown a lot this year, and as a team we struggled a bit, but the Suzuka Grand Prix is the most memorable.”
“For me, I still remember it vividly, and above all, the first lap out of the pits, from turn 1 to turn 2, I was actually watching as a spectator for turn 2 four years in back. that I was actually running, and more than anything else, the warm hospitality from everyone resonated in my heart.”
“Thank you very much for your support on television, especially in the rain, for three days, four days, and even late at night. I will do my best to stay in the top 10 in the championship, so please continue to support me next year.”
Finally, Pierre Gasly said, “The last 10 years with Honda have been a wonderful journey and I have very good memories of being part of the Red Bull family with Sergio, Max and Yuki.”
“For example, I am here today, not only in 4-wheel vehicles, but also in MotoGP, domestic Super Formula, and SUPER GT. I will never forget these 10 years. I am truly grateful.”
