“It is impossible to sell the land in Songhyeon-dong due to the entertainment and entertainment administration of Seoul City”
Korean Air (003490)Lee announced on the 27th that it had submitted a petition to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport calling for the exercise of the authority of Minister Kim Hyun-mi’s guidance and advice on the issue of Song Hyun-dong.
Korean Air changed its words to “We will try to sign a contract as soon as possible,” without confirming the timing of the contract, ahead of the agreement ceremony for the sale of the site in Songhyeon-dong, which was scheduled to be held by the National Rights Commission of Korea on November 26th. “He said, “The intention is to exclude the binding power of the court.”
Through a petition on the day, Korean Air guided and advised the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport to implement the procedures within a period acceptable to Korean Air in response to the arbitration by the Seoul City Authority. I asked for guidance and recommendations so that I could do it. “It means to advise the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport so that the exercise of private property rights and administrative authority can be exercised in a balanced and rational manner,” Korean Air explained.
The Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has the authority to guide local governments in accordance with Article 166 of the Local Autonomy Act. Article 166 of the Local Autonomy Act stipulates that the heads of central administrative agencies including the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport may be given advice, recommendations, or guidance on the affairs of local governments.
Korean Air said, “The sale of the Songhyeon-dong site is the key to the implementation by 2021. It is an urgent situation that the sale procedure must be carried out as soon as possible.” In addition, he said, “We sincerely hope that the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport will provide the right direction in consideration of the desperate situation where Korean Air employees share the pain and do their best to overcome the Corona 19 crisis.”
Earlier, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced in March that it would park the land in Songhyeon-dong, a private property of Korean Air, and the two sides created a conflict. It is known that the Seoul Metropolitan Government has mediated a provisional agreement by suggesting a plan to secure Songhyeon-dong land through the’third party purchase’ method through the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) and exchange it with municipal land. However, on the 25th, the sale agreement was postponed indefinitely as the Seoul Metropolitan Government requested amendment of the wording of the mediation one day before the final agreement on the sale of the site.
