Police arrest two men in their 20s on charges of confinement and sexual assault of elementary school students

Two men in their 20s were arrested by the police on charges of sexually assaulting an elementary school student they learned through social media.

The Seoul Central Police Station is investigating and arresting Park and Jo, males in their 20s, on charges of sexually assaulting and imprisoning a minor.

They are accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old elementary school student they met through SNS on the morning of the 14th at an officetel in Jung-gu, Seoul, and imprisoning them for nearly 11 hours.

After receiving a report from the family of an elementary school student saying that ‘the daughter did not go to school,’ the police searched and arrested Park and Cho.

Police are planning to apply for an arrest warrant for them.
