Police inspector who wrote thousands of stories for children –

KARACHI: The well-known children’s writer Inspector Ahmed Adnan Tariq has written thousands of stories and dozens of books along with his job in the police.

Renowned children’s writer SHO Ahmed Adnan Tariq was the guest of Shaam Ramadan and spoke about his literary journey.

Ahmed Adnan, who hails from Faisalabad, joined the police department before completing his education, during which he obtained an MA in English and then a law degree.

He has been writing stories for children for the past several years, he said that so far 3500 of his stories have been published in various newspapers, magazines and journals.

His story has been published for the last 130 months in a well-known educational magazine of the country, he has written 50 books containing his stories so far.

Ahmed Adnan also has the honor that 2 MPhil theses have been written on his work.

Ahmed Adnan said that in 2010, one of his legs was disabled, after which his relationship was once again established by reading and writing, which has been established till now.
