Two police officers who fled the scene at the time of the recent ‘knife riot between floors’ in Incheon were fired.

The Incheon Police Agency held a disciplinary committee today (30th) and dismissed police officers A and B from the Incheon Nonhyeon Police Station for violating the duty of integrity and violating the duty to maintain dignity.

Disciplinary action for police officers is divided into heavy disciplinary measures such as dismissal, dismissal, demotion, and suspension, and light disciplinary measures such as wage reduction and reprimand. If you are dismissed due to disciplinary procedures, you cannot be appointed as a public official for a certain period of time.

A police official said, “As a result of the inspection, it was confirmed that there was a poor response, such as leaving the scene without immediate action.” The police are also investigating the commander and supervisor of this case. Strict action will be taken based on the results of the investigation.

Officer A and Inspector B were released from their positions after it was revealed that they had left the scene at the time of the knife riot that occurred at a villa in Namdong-gu, Incheon on the 15th.

In this incident, three members of the victim’s family were stabbed and injured. One of them is still unconscious.
