The official cheerleaders of Taiwan’s professional baseball team, the Rakuten Monkeys, “Rakuten Girls” will come to Japan this weekend for the friendly match between the team and Lotte on Ishigaki Island. Among them, Lin Xiang, a popular member who boasts over 1.45 million Instagram followers, is likely to attract attention. The match will be held on February 11 and 12 at Lotte Campground, Ishigaki Island, as the “Asia Gateway Battle Exchange 2023 in Ishigaki Island”. Rakuten has already announced a six-person expedition cheerleaders including Lin Xiang on the Twitter team.
The team’s official cheer performer, “M☆Splash!”, is sent to accompany Lotte, who is at the end. It looks like we can see a hot Japan-Taiwan sailing contest. Last season, with the cooperation of Nippon-Ham, the Rakuten Girls performed a “fox dance” on their home ground where they fluttered their arms and waists.
