[Lisbon 29th Reuters]–On the 29th, 13 people were reported infected with a new mutant of the new coronavirus “Omicron” in Portugal.
All are said to be players and staff of the Lisbon soccer club “Belenenses SAD”. One of the players recently returned from South Africa.
Portuguese health officials have revealed.
It is said that the infection with Omicron strain was discovered after the Primeira Liga (Portugal 1st division) match against Benfica on the 27th.
