A 34-year-old employee working at a post office in Tokyo was arrested on suspicion of embezzlement for business purposes, alleging that he had dressed a mail containing another person’s credit card without delivering it. The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating that there is a suspicion that he had repeatedly dressed dozens of times in the same manner because other people’s credit cards and gift certificates were confiscated from the deputy chief’s home.

Regarding the arrest of the staff, Japan Post Tokyo branch office commented, “As soon as the facts are confirmed, we will take strict measures.”
