The fight between the ruling and opposition parties related to the shooting of an official of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries is also intensifying.
The People’s Power put forward Moon Jae-in’s theory of responsibility, saying that the Blue House drove North Korea to North Korea at the time, and the Democratic Party criticized it as a vile act, saying that the people’s power is cheating the people with lies.

The People’s Power Fact-Investigation Task Force stipulated that the Moon Jae-in government drove officials of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries who were shot in the West Sea to North Korea.

He said that the word ‘North Korea’ appeared only once in the seven hours of telecommunication intelligence obtained by the military, and that it appeared two hours after the official was discovered by the North Korean military.

“(North Korea) senior unit asks. ‘Did you defect to North Korea?’ and a North Korean soldier at the scene said, ‘You said that you defected to North Korea.'”
It is said that there is a possibility that the deceased public official, exhausted from a long drifting state, did not understand the North Korean military’s question about whether or not he had defected and answered that it was North Korea.
People’s Power also claimed that the Blue House had neglected to issue a prompt rescue order and found a circumstance that ordered the Coast Guard to investigate the possibility of a North Korean defection.

“There is a point that the Blue House administrator went to the Coast Guard and coerced it like, ‘Investigate the North Korean defectors.’
In response, the Blue House officials and the Democratic Party at the time are refusing to say that this is not true.
At the time, the first deputy chief of the National Security Office at the time, Seo Joo-seok, emphasized that the situation in North Korea could be confirmed by analyzing various types of military special interception information at the time.

The administrative officer of the senior civil affairs office, who was suspected of intervening in the investigation, also refuted, saying, “During my tenure in office, I never visited the Coast Guard, nor did I give any opinion on the direction of the investigation.”
The Democratic Party emphasized that the Korean people did their best to confirm the facts and disclose them transparently in the special situation found in North Korean territorial waters.
He also criticized, “The action of the ruling party, which hastened to use the difficulty of disclosing security assets as a material for attack by the former government, is naive and vulgar,” he said.

The Democratic Party also claimed that there was nothing wrong with the Coast Guard leadership’s resignation, saying that the military and Coast Guard did their best at the time.
