Congress president Sonia Gandhi had invited Prashant Kishore to join the Congress. Later, after a meeting with Congress leaders, Prashant Kishore announced that he would not be joining the Congress.
Leaders who wanted to reshuffle the party to prepare the Congress for the 2024 elections were also skeptical of Prashant Kishore’s suitability.
