Prashant Kishore says BJP will continue to be the focal point of Indian politics

Panaji: Election strategist Prashant Kishore has said that the BJP will remain the focal point of Indian politics for a long time, whether it wins or loses. But neither the Congress nor Rahul Gandhi realizes this, he said. The response was during a question and answer session at a public event in Goa.

The BJP will continue to be the focal point of Indian politics for years to come, whether it wins or loses, as the Congress did 40 years after independence. The BJP is not going anywhere from here. Never fall into this trap of public sentiment against Modi, maybe they (the people) will pull Modi out, but the BJP is not going anywhere. They will be right here. They will fight here for decades.

Pointing out how the Congress party sees the future of Narendra Modi and the BJP, Kishore said, ‘You go and talk to any Congress leader or any local leader and they will say, this is a matter of time, people are starting to get tired, there will be a wave of anti-government and people will oust him. But that is where the Congress and Rahul Gandhi go wrong. “It’s not going to happen,” Kishore said. Earlier, Prashant Kishore had said that there was no quick solution to the problems of the Congress and the organizational problems.

“If you do not understand or examine the power and strength of Narendra Modi, you cannot defeat him and replace him. The problem he sees is that you do not spend enough time to understand his power and what makes him popular,” he said.

Following the Trinamool Congress’ election victory in Bengal based on Prashant Kishore’s tactics, there were reports that Prashant was joining hands with the Congress. But reports from People say that’s just what’s happening.

Prashant, who played a pivotal role in Prime Minister Modi’s victory in the 2014 elections, is reportedly active in challenging the BJP in the 2024 national elections. Therefore, there are indications that Prashant will abstain from the elections to be held in five states next year and will focus on the 2024 general elections.
