Patna: A pregnant woman was gang-raped by three men in Patna, Bihar. The accused left the 24-year-old unconscious on the railway track near Patna Junction station and drowned. Police arrested two accused, Vishal and Ankit, on the basis of the woman’s complaint.
The incident took place on Saturday night. The woman, who was walking out of the house, was allegedly abused by two neighbors. They then forcibly took the girl to a nearby field. According to the woman’s complaint, the three allegedly molested her after calling another friend.
The accused brutally beat the girl who tried to resist the torture. The accused then left the unconscious woman on a nearby railway track and drowned. Later, the railway police heard the woman’s voice and took her to the women’s police station. He was later shifted to the hospital.
Police are still searching for the third accused in the case.
