Preparations on the day before the launch of the anti-accidental ship Nuri are proceeding smoothly

The Korea Aerospace Research Institute announced on the 20th that preparations for the day before the launch of the Nuri, scheduled for launch on the 21st, are proceeding smoothly.

According to a briefing by Oh Seung-hyeop, head of the launch vehicle propulsion unit development department at the Korea Air Force, the Nuri departed the launch vehicle assembly building in the Naro Space Center in Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do at 7:20 am on the same day and arrived at the launch pad at 8:40 am.

After that, it was fixed to the launch pad through standing work, and in the afternoon, electrical inspection of the projectile and connection of hydraulic and pneumatic umbilicals are in progress.

Confidentiality checks to determine if there is a possibility of clogging or leaking while charging fuel or oxidizer will be conducted by 7 pm on the same day.

Whether or not to continue the preparation work on the morning of the next morning, the scheduled launch date, will be decided at a meeting of the Nuri launch management committee chaired by Oh Tae-seok, 1st Vice Minister of Science, Technology, Information and Communication that evening.

If work is carried out on the same day as the scheduled launch date, the process of rechecking the already connected umbilical facilities and injecting helium gas from 10 am continues.
