President Biden Kicks Off Year-End Holiday Celebrations with Ceremony to Save Turkey’s Life

After hosting a wedding for my granddaughter and attending an 80th birthday celebration at the White House this past weekend. President Joe Biden presided over the rescue of two turkeys, a tradition that has passed before Americans celebrate Thanksgiving. According to Reuters news agency

Reports say the two turkeys are named “Chocolate” and “Chips” and weigh 46 pounds and 47 pounds from North Carolina. In addition, both will not have to become a delicious meal in the upcoming festival. also ate a large meal at this ceremony which made the participants unable to help smiling

And with the temperature in Washington colder than usual, Biden said he did not want this year’s ceremony on the South Lawn of the White House because “nobody likes cold turkey.”

As part of the ceremony the United States Army Band helped liven up the event by playing “Freebird” in a version of the rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd before President Biden. He will continue to hold the redemption ceremony

Americans across the country will be cooking up millions of turkeys for Thanksgiving this Thursday. It will be served with side dishes such as gravy, cranberry sauce. Baked Potatoes and Green Beans as well as desserts such as pumpkin pie
