Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya had the injured police officer Alim Reis Demirel talk to President Erdoğan on the phone. President Erdoğan said, “May God grant you healing. Your blood is not left on the ground, it will not remain. They paid a heavy price. They will continue to pay from now on. May God help all security forces in the next period.” said.

We visited our heroic police officers Alim Reis Demirel and Erkan Karataş, who were injured after the treacherous terrorist attack, in the hospital where they were treated.
Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, spoke by phone with our police brother Alim Reis. As stated by our President, who wished our heroes to get well soon, our police officers are sorry. Traitors have paid a heavy price and will continue to do so.
Thank God, the health of our heroes is getting better every day. I pray to God for a speedy recovery.
With the prayers and support of our beloved nation, our fight against terrorism will continue with perseverance and determination.
