Attend the hydrogen cooperation business roundtable and meet with the UAE Prime Minister

President Moon Jae-in, who went on a six-night, eight-day tour to visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia and Egypt, will attend the Korea-UAE Hydrogen Cooperation Business Roundtable on the 16th (local time).

President Moon, who is visiting the UAE as the first itinerary of his tour, will be asking for cooperation between the governments and companies of the two countries and companies related to the hydrogen industry at a business roundtable event held at a hotel in Dubai on the same day and for Korean companies to advance into the UAE.

Next, they will meet with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister of the UAE and Prince of Dubai, to discuss ways to expand infrastructure cooperation, response to climate change, and space cooperation.

President Moon also participates in the official event of the ‘Korea Day’ of Expo Dubai, and will directly engage in publicity activities to host Expo 2030 in Busan, directly to the heads of members of the International Exposition Organization (BIE) and general visitors.

While promoting the significance of the Busan Expo as ‘a great transformation of the world, a voyage to a better future’, we plan to introduce the government’s carbon neutrality and digital transformation policies.
