The presidential office said, “There will be other precedents for that,” and “please understand it that way” about the controversy that two employees from Kovana Contents are working for the presidential office.

An official from the presidential office said at a briefing today, “Not only the current president, but also other presidents, there are many cases where people who work close to each other work in the presidential office with people who have worked for a long time and are comfortable with them.”

When the additional question ‘what kind of first lady in the past personally hired you like that’ was asked about the remark that ‘there will be precedents’, the official said, “It is a bit absurd to say that it was privately hired,” he drew a line.

The official also said, “They are all former employees and have nothing to do with Kobana content.” “If you look at yesterday’s picture, there are four women, one is Professor Kim, and the other three are employees of the President’s Office, and one is working on another job. It was done before, and one person worked for a short time in Cobana, and the other person also helped work there.”

The two employees were also pointed out that it is difficult to see them as ‘ex-employees’ as they resigned as a whole when Cobana Contents practically went out of business at the end of last month.

Regarding this, the official said, “Actually, I know that the resignation was given back then, but I recently quit.”
