Unicef has recognized the Indian actor Priyanka Chopra for her charitable efforts. The Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award winner will receive this year's Unicef Snowflake Ball. The honor is named after American actor Danny Kaye and the first Goodwill Ambassador.
Now in the 15th year, the Snow Flask has a list of guest speakers, raising money for Unicef's work with children around the world. This year's edition will be held in New York on 3 December.

Bollywood star has been Unicef's Goodwill Ambassador since 2010. She traveled to Ethiopia with the organization last month, visiting Sudanese refugee children in the Bambasi refugee camp and young refugees in Eritrea in the Hitsats and Adi-Harush camps. .
After her trip, husband Nick Jonas brought Instagram to share his pride in his wife's latest venture.
The west BAZAAR The cover star worked with Unicef on projects around the world and showed support for NGO rights of children in her native India. She has established the Priyanka Chopra Institute for Health and Education, which covers education and medical costs for young people in India.
