(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Kyung-yun = Professional baseball Hanwha Eagles eventually released left-handed foreign pitcher Ryan Carpenter (32).

On the 31st, Hanwha Club said, “We have requested the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) to disclose a waiver regarding Carpenter.”

Carpenter, who played in Taiwanese professional baseball, joined Hanwha last year and renewed his contract after scoring 5-12 with a 3.97 ERA in 31 games.

He complained of left elbow pain in the first three games of the game and was excluded from the first team entry.

Hanwha decided that it would be difficult for Carpenter to make a comeback, so they hurried to change pitchers. Three scouts were sent to the United States to find new foreign players.

Another foreign pitcher, Nick Kingham, is also injured and Hanwha’s starting rotation has collapsed.
