Prof. reveals that the overall situation of covid remains stable. The number of infected people is still high. While most of the deceased were over the age of 60 and had chronic diseases.

On August 22, 1964, the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CDC) reported the situation of the epidemic of the COVID-19 virus. in the country daily as follows:

– 233 deaths, 140 males, 93 females, aged between 7 months – 101 years (average age 66), most of the deaths were elderly people over 60 years old and had chronic medical conditions.

– The cumulative death toll has risen to 9,320.

– The cumulative number of confirmed cases in the country since the beginning of the year 63 until the latest is 1,049,295.

-There are 20,672 more recovered patients.

– There are 200,339 patients remaining, divided into 40,827 hospitals, Sanam hospitals, and 159,512 others.

– 5,239 critically ill patients, 1,117 on ventilators

The provinces with the highest number of COVID-19 cases in today’s top 5 were Bangkok 4,399, followed by Samut Sakhon 1,499, Chonburi 1,092, Samut Prakan 749, and Nonthaburi 690.
