Many people regard the music player iPod Classic released in 2007 as Apple’s classic product, and even some users continue to use it now. Recently, programmer Tanner V released a Github project, allowing iPod Classic to be reproduced on our mobile phones as a web player.
This web player called iPod Classic (https://tannerv.com/ipod/) allows users to log in to Apple Music or Spotify accounts, and then play on the highly restored iPod Classic screen. In addition to re-presenting the fuselage and interface design, Tanner V even allows users to experience the manipulation of pressing and rotating. The iPod Classic web player also provides functions such as Cover Flow mode, searching for music by artist, album or playlist, and even the nostalgic Bricks game.
Tanner V said that he would like to add more small programs and Easter eggs to the project in the future, but it is unknown whether Apple will ask him to remove the project due to copyright and other reasons.
